Godatum International Company Limited is a Hong Kong startup dedicated to making digital collaboration simple and accessible for businesses of all sizes.

Our founding team combines two powerful strengths. On the technology side, we bring nearly 40 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software engineering — spanning ERP systems, real-time collaboration platforms, cross-platform mobile development, and government IT projects. We know how to integrate complex technology systems from the ground up.

On the business side, our team brings over 30 years of global experience leading large teams and managing complex operations across diverse industries — including garment, sportswear, and international merchandising — across Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia. This means we understand firsthand how people in different fields, countries, and cultures need to collaborate and share diverse types of data every day.

This release runs on the Hong Kong Tencent server, designed for overseas users as a long-term solution. Users in Mainland China can register for short-term access now, but will need to re-register with the China Tencent server version (expected around mid to late October).

GoGoAct Terms of Service & Trial License

1. Trial Purpose Only - This version is provided solely for evaluation and experience. It is not intended for production or commercial use.
2. No Warranty - The software is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied.
3. Data & Security Disclaimer - Godatum International Company Limited shall not bear responsibility for any data loss, security breaches, or other issues arising during trial usage. Users remain solely responsible for their own data protection and compliance.
4. Intellectual Property Protection - GoGoAct is protected by patents filed in Hong Kong, China, and the United States, as well as copyright. Any unauthorized copying, imitation, or infringement will result in legal action.
5. Feedback - Users are encouraged to provide comments and suggestions during the trial. Feedback may be used to improve the product.
6. Limitation of Liability - The company disclaims liability for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from use of the trial version.
7. Future Upgrades & Fees - Frequent upgrade versions will be released in the future. Fees may be required for upgraded versions, subject to company decision.
8. Termination - The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the trial at any time without prior notice.
9. Data Retention - We will keep users’ encrypted email addresses in our database server until they unregister from our platform. User data will be retained on our server for 14 days and will be permanently deleted upon expiry.

Godatum International Company Limited ("we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to protecting the privacy and personal data of users ("you") of the GoGoAct platform. This Privacy Policy details how we handle, process, store, and protect your information when you utilize our GoGoAct desktop application and collaborative services.

1. Architectural Core Principle: Distributed & Client-Authoritative

GoGoAct is built upon a distributed, client-authoritative architecture. All your operational form instances, workflow data, correspondence threads, and local attachments reside primarily on your personal device (such as in local SQLite databases). Our cloud backend functions primarily as a lightweight real-time distribution relay to synchronize changes between authorized collaborators, rather than a centralized permanent store for your private enterprise data.

2. Email Account Integration and Data Access (Google, Microsoft, etc.)

When you integrate third-party email accounts (such as Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, or custom mailboxes) using industry-standard protocols (OAuth 2.0 or IMAP/SMTP credentials), GoGoAct accesses only the data strictly required to deliver essential desktop features:

  • Message Reading & Headers: Fetches message headers, bodies, and attachments incrementally to link emails to your structured business forms and workflow timelines.
  • Message Transmission: Sends emails and attachments through your authorized provider solely upon your explicit manual instruction.
  • Identity Verification: Verifies basic profile metadata (your email address) to manage local account profiles and active sessions.

3. Security and Storage of Credentials and Tokens

All OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and synchronized email contents remain strictly within your local device environment. Highly sensitive authorization credentials are encrypted utilizing operating-system-level keychains (such as Electron safeStorage / Windows Credential Manager). Our central servers never receive, store, or log your OAuth tokens, mailbox passwords, or unencrypted personal emails.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance (Limited Use Requirements)

GoGoAct's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • No Advertising: We never use Google user data to serve personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • No Data Sale: We strictly prohibit the transfer or sale of Google user data to third parties, data brokers, or external entities.
  • No AI/ML Training: We do not use Google user data to train, retrain, or fine-tune generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Limited Human Access: No humans (including internal personnel) read your email data unless you give explicit consent for resolving a technical ticket, or where necessary for security and legal investigations.

5. Relay Data Retention and Deletion Mechanism

During collaboration, temporary synchronization packets routed through our backend relay are held on the server only for the minimum duration necessary to deliver updates to offline devices. Any lingering relay packets persist for a maximum of 14 days, after which they are permanently and automatically purged. Furthermore, when you choose to disconnect an email account or reset local application data, all synchronized local SQLite records and cached tokens are instantly wiped from your device.

6. Amendments and Updates

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect platform enhancements or evolving legal standards. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be highlighted through software update logs or notices on our official portal.
